Hi,

Length times width = area.
Make sure to multiply the units as well
(1.2)yards * (0.5)yards = 0.6 (yards * yards) = 0.6 yards^2

so there are 0.6 square yards.

Hope that helps,
Matt

This is a question about AREA. Area is a formula represented by Length x's Width (when working with Squares and rectangles)
So in this question L x W = A
. . . . . . . 1.2 x 0.5 = 0.6 sq. yards

good luck with your next area question
