If you want to get into the music industry, as a singer or as a musician, the best place to begin is a good music school. I highly reccomend the music school at Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana. It is one of the finest in the country, and the town is a blast. It is located about 50 miles south of Indianapolis.
When you leave this university with a degree in music, you can pretty much write your own ticket, build a good career in the industry. Good luck.
