your 10, you havent hit puberty yet...you still have alot of changes in your body that will be happening before u know it. if u do feel ur bigger then the rest of ur friends or classmates, get involved in an activity that u really like now. that will help u stay heatlhy and give ur mind a boost of happiness with ur self. your too young to be worried about ur weight, and if people constantly remind u...they arent ur friends, so it doesnt matter what they think

Not sure what 130 lbs = in kilos but if you are concerned about your weight you should speak to your parents or your family doctor to see if there are any medical reasons for your weight.
It would aslo depend on how much exerise you do and what foods you eat (of course). Find out about lower fat alternatives for the foods you like and get your parents to help you by not buying the foods that ae bad for you.
But basically you should do something becuase you want to for yourself and for your health - dont do it cause the kids at school tease etc. I was a normal sized kid and I still got picked on.

I have an 11 year old who also weighs more than he should at his age(125) Recently, we enrolled him in a martial arts school. He loves it and has started to really shape up and slim down. It has also done wonders for his confidence level which I believe has affected positively his need to snack late at night and overeat at meals. Don't look for the quick-fix. Increase activity, decrease food intake, both in moderation. And realize that what you think of you is more important than whan anyone else thinks. Good luck! And speak openly to your parents. They are there to guide you.

I just answered your other question...if you think you weigh a lot, then try to lose some weight...but you are still growing, so you need calories and protein to support your growth. Don't starve yourself.
