Why are Africans always suffering so much?

If they are the oldest race, why are they the most primative?

It's natural for them. They are now as they have always been and always will be. As European and Asian influence declines it gets worse. I'm sure that will get me plenty of thumbs down from the politically correct crowd.

Well first consider that Africa is a continent very rich in natural resources. If you use charcoal, diamonds,exotic wood,oil (yes oil),gold and many other resources more than likely you have been a consumer from the African continent. Next consider that many of the governments in that region have been very corrupt,warlord based and have exploited their own resources and people for personal gain. So even though in many areas plenty of resources are to be found the gains from these resources end up in the hands of very few. To top it off many industries such as diamond mining companies make huge profits..but pay slave labor wages.............

There are many reasons why Africans suffer so much...And I believe that alot of it comes down to their government and economy. They live in a land of Poverty. They cannot afford education or Health Care. Many of the diseases that they are plagued by are preventable. But they do not have the education to know how to prevent them, nor the medicines to vaccinate. Also, many illnesses that exist there are treatable, and they cannot afford the medicine to treat them.
Also, their living conditions do not help in their survival either. Clean and safe drinking water is scarce. There is little food for them either. If they do know enough to plant crops to feed themselves, they aren't usually plentiful. They don't have the means to raise successful crops......
This is why many "outside" countries are coming to their aid, and groups like "World Vision." They are providing them with schools to educate. Medicines to Treat and Vaccinate. And Food and Safe Drinking Water.

i think living conditions are bad(whether)and the choice of living for eg. they chose to be nomads(poeple that move around to places with more water)poeple in europe settled down. (its easier to die of thirst than it is to die of the cold)

there are a million reasons that i can think of that can explain this.

have u heard the theory of natural selection by charles darwin?
it explains that poeple that r most suited to live in there surroundings will survive. did u know that black poeple have a substance in there skin called mellanin(not sure how u spell that but look it up)more mellanin means more resistance against the sun. white poeple have less of this.some scientists believe that black poeple have the ability to retain water in their bodies.
i believe that africa is the hardest place to survive in. if white tribes were left there to try and survive in africa and not leave to europe or where ever, they would die.

ps. the only reason why countries like south africa r a bit like the rest of us is because of white poeple frm europe. which means racism and the asnwers that were given above are wrong becuase the the very arival of whites cuased the slight bit of civilization that some african countries have. so that means that racism itself cuased african civilization.

Tribalism is one of the greatest reasons Africa suffers. When they decide to become nations of law, rather than nations of men, the suffering will be mitigated.

My theory is that they are like the Native Americans were. They just go about their lives and follow their customs. When someone decides to govern and take advantage of them, they don't have any cynicism so they don't try to stop them. When their resources are used up, instead of being able to move on like they used to, now they're not allowed to travel as far because the government has put up boundaries, and they begin to starve.
