That's annoying. Like strangers would come up and start talking to the babies/toddlers and start touching them (you never know where the strangers hands been. All those germs) One time a man out of nowhere walked up to my little boy and started making baby sounds and then he was going to pinch my son's cheeks and I pushed his hands out of the way and I said "Do you like it if someone started pinching your cheeks?"

Just because babies are so cute doesn't give strangers the right to start touching them, especially when the parent is right there.

And just yesterday, a grocery store clerk started getting close to my son, talking to him and started touching him AGAIN!
And she did it while she was smiling and looking at me at the same time! Damn Idiots!

And when I tell strangers to "back off" some of them get defensive and one person said "well you need to lose weight" LOLzzzz

im with you.....it used to drive me crazy when i would go out and all of a sudden hands were everywhere.....i used to wipe their face as soon as the person left....or kept on moving so they couldnt touch.......i understand babies have that attraction....but really.......

As a parent, I think it is very rude, unsanitary and an invasion of privacy! I don't like it at all, but at the same time, when a old lady starts pinching my sons cheeks, what am I supposed to say? get you hands off my kid!?
I know I wouldn't start touching someone else's kid. It's weird! what gives them the RIGHT to do that?

that is a good point i hate that i was babysitting some 5 month old and i took him to the park they started asking questions like is that my baby and touching him it was weird and i told them to back off i hate when people do that

Some just wanna play with the babies because they think they're cute. Its weird sometimes when people do that! I mean I don't want you to punch my child like that! It is very weird when they do that sometimes!

I agree with you, it is an awful habit that people have. No one should touch your child without first asking your permission.

people are just ignorant. they never think before they talk. . . or in this case, they never think before they touch. they don't really know what your thinking, you got to make it clear to them that you don't want hands on your child.

i know its annoying.The reason they do that is because usually babies are cute enough to attract adults and they touch them.I also think they shouldn't because of their germs.
