That would essentially create an unstable world because if you really think about it, would you really want to know what everyone was thinking about or would you want others to know what you were thinking about it? Sometimes people don't tell or say things to people for a reason, and sometimes that is good thing. If you were telepathic, there most likely would be an increase in miscommunication and you would more likely be involved in more violent situations. Be thankful that your thoughts get to be your own.

Telepathy is total fantasy. A lot can be interpreted from people's body language, and that could be mistaken for telepathy, but reading another person's mind directly is not possible.

then you would know that i know what your thinking
and the gifted/special people would be the ones who were not telepathic
so everyone who was telepathic would want to be not telepathic

Then we would be living on a more honest and open world - that is for sure. Would be scary I suppose, but a bit boring, for there would be no 'mystery' - all the 'what ifs' would be gone. When you go on a date, can you imagine!!!!!

MOST PEOPLE ACTUALLY HAVE THAT ABILITY....ITS THAT..I DONT KNOW WHY, BUT I DONT LIKE THAT PERSON...FEELING.....YOU JUST GET THE FEELING THAT THEY ARENT ON YOUR SIDE, EVEN THOUGH NOT A WORD IS SPOKEN....BUT WE TEND TO BURY IT INSTEAD OF HEEDING THE FEELING... that would be bad, because whenever someone starts to annoy me i start to curse them off in my mind. besides everyone would know who you liked, if you were lieing, if you were resally sick......bad stuff.
