Get your eyes reexamined every year or two in case your eyes change. If your frames work for you then just replace the lenses. Otherwise, donate your old glasses to charities that help poor in other countries. But PLEASE get modern frames at least every15 years so you don't look like you are completely out of touch with how you look. My boyfriend is still wearing the same frames he had in the 80's! Hopeless! LOL

Every year you should get an exam to check for changes but some insurance companies only cover for every two years which can lead to more serious eye problems later on in life and contacts by law has to be updated every year at least in Cali.

After age 50 have a check every two years. After 65 every year. Anytime your vision becomes blurred. have a check-up

you should have your eyes checked every 12 months.....when there is a change in the lens requirements the optometrist will tell you that you need new a lens.....you can always keep your frames or you can update them as well....its up to you
