yes, it was cancelled.
In January 2006, with the airing of "Payback's a Witch", Charmed became the longest running show with all-female leads, surpassing Laverne & Shirley. The series ended its run on May 21, 2006.[1] The Charmed series finale, "Forever Charmed", pulled in a season high of 4.49 million viewers.

It lasted 8 seasons and I think it went as far as it could.
It finished earlier this year.

they ended it last season they have 8 season together. where have you been. last season was the last because the wb and upn came together to form one network which is the cw.
