Very easy. Usually just a few references will do.
The question is how good will you be at it?
Will you be someone who will help children?
Will you be very vigilant and careful?
Will you take interest in the children?
If you have that motivation, you can become successful in this relatively new concept of day care providing.

well here is my list of qualifications.
1 you must be dependable as in being on time when i tell you a time that means you be there or if you are going to be late please call in advance.
2. you would have to be responsible and know what to do incase of an emergency.
3. i would have all emergency phone numbers posted on the refrigerator.
4. they would have to tell their friends that they are not welcome to come over as you have a responsability to my children and they are never to be unsupervised .
5. do not be on the telephone all night as the children need to be tended to.
6 if you eat something or drink something please clean up after yourself and the children.
7 if i have told you a certain time that the kids need to be put to bed please honor that

a brain...some first aid training. the ability to dial a phone. some training in child care would be nice. and some references and alot of patience.

patience and experience. most people wont hire you unless you have some references. of course unless you're babysitting for family members

None - but if you are looking at becoming a nanny, it's a good idea if you get your first aid certificate.
