I need better sound computer ppl?

I have a new Compaq Presario and I love it excpet it has poor sound quality. Can i adjust it or buy other speakers to hook up to it? Can I hook desktop speakers up to it?

Ok thats great news but if I have new speakers where do I hook them up too?

as above .youplug them in the sound out jack or headphone jack generally colored green

Yes, Yes, and Yes. You can buy new spakers (or use any other ones that you may have).
