I have an Ibanez Talman TCY10BK1201 that I need to replace the strings on. I got a set of regular light guage acoustic strings, but they seem way too tight, I'm worried it will snap the neck if I try to pull it up to full tune (about 2-3 steps on each string). Should I be using electric strings instead? I'd like to just replace it the same string that the manufacture uses because I was really happy with those. Thanks!
