You're not likely to find a 2/2 in Boca Raton under 1270$-ish. I recently moved from one of the cheapest complexes in Boca Raton. Reflections of Boca Del Mar - Stay away. Lots of addicts there. If you don't mind Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Aire off of Powerline & Atlantic Blvd ( A few blocks south of Atlantic on Powerline ), you might be able to find something a little cheaper. Decent, reasonably safe area.

If you go to rent.com you can put in all types of preferences and find an apartment that you want in your area... I just did a search for a 2bed 2bath for under $1000 in Boca Raton for you and found a some options, some in Boca and some within 10miles from Boca but still had 37 apartments to choose from. Good luck with finding your new place!!! :)

you should try asking a boca raton realtor who specializes in rentals. this directory has TONS of good agents on it: http://www.realestateforsaleinflorida.net
