It is all about state of mind. Confidence is nothing more than a positive aditude. Sit down one day and just think. Write down whats been bugging you. Its hard to not care what people think, especially in todays world where women are forced to conform to the jurisdiction of a few guys in Hollywood deciding whats hot or not. Remember to feel real and be yourself. Connect with people like you that share your same feelings about things and fashion sence. It is easier to let things roll of your sholder when there is a person (or people) backing you up. Distance yourself from the people that bring you down. Start up karate, i heard it is a good confidence booster and bam, theres a gruip of people that share an interest of yours.

By changing your way of thinking. You know what you can do well, hone your skills, whatever they maybe and that will build your confidence in yourself. As for what people think of you, that's nothing you have control over, but you do have a choice in whether or not you allow what other's think about you to affect you in a negative way. Don't give someone else the power to choose how you feel about yourself. Always choose & think positively. Always be kind, courteous, helpful, and genuine but at the same time don't allow yourself to be a doormat or let anyone treat you badly or with disrespect. When you feel good about yourself then you build your self confidence. When you treat others well & respectfully then you will continue to feel good about yourself. Be assertive, not agressive.Tell yourself daily that you're a worthy person & beleive it. If you have a negative thought enter your mind, then counteract it with a positive thought. If you must do it several times daily, until it is fully programmed into your head. You hold all the power, it's your choice. Choose well. Good luck.
