I am doing a crossword puzzle for medical terminology and I need to know another term for vertebrae. I have these letters
_ _ I _ E I thought it might be spine but when I looked it up that just means spine not vertebrae... My teacher makes us answer very specific so I am just not sure... Thanks!!

Vertebrae being the plural for vertebra. Therefore more than one vertebra intended, SPINE would be correct as it collectively means the vertebral column. So you were right!
