PLEASE can someone help me . I crashed a while back with Aol and i got my modem back with gateway but i never got my sound back. There has to be a way to get my sound without going out and buying another card.

Control panel. System. Device manager. Sound. Right click and update driver. Make sure your speakers are plugged in.

try this: go to
*start> control panel > sound and audio devices
*a window will pop-up and on the Audio tab, there will be a drop
down menu and you can select your appropriate hardware that
works properly, if it still dont work try calling aol for support.

remove the card from inside your pc, switch your pc back on. Shut down again, the install the card again, start up your pc again and windows should detect it.
