sounds like you have a life-long injury. does weather affect your knee? cold can sometimes do this, esp for ppl with arthritis and such. explain to your doctor that you are walking with a limp, it's hurting and it's aggravated now by your cycle. ask him what can you do on your own to maintain your knee from the pain.

Sounds like you have an old injury that is being aggravated by the edema you are getting from your cycle. Has anyone really evaluated the joint recently? Make sure you don't have something torn in that knee joint. Probably not I'd say. Meanwhile, you can take Advil or Alleve for the pain and stiffness assuming you have no contraindication to taking those meds. Tylenol alone may do the trick and it's safer.

i would reccomend a thermomagram- it detects things inside your body with thermal heat- not harmful at all- but just so you know when you injure a body part it is never the same again- and a thermomagram could show the dr whats up with your knee

see a doc and have them check your knee.....its possible that there is fluid build-up or cartiledge wear in the knee......or it could be arthritis beginning.....check with a doctor to get a difinitive diagnosis.
