"Lullaby Baby"
By R.Scott Taylor
Melody by JDS
(1964)
Lullaby my baby close to my heart
Rockaby away those lullaby blues
My lullabies promise I love you
Rock a baby sighs cradled slow
Lullabies whisper a baby knows
Love is tender rock in my arms
Lullaby love you safe and warm
Rockaby softly hold me so tight
Give a baby kisses in the night
Lullabies whisper to tell you so
My lullaby arms won't let you go....

If I were to attempt to song to you, you would not be going to sleep. You would be running, screaming from the room! My Mom used to sing that old song, "I've got a girl named O-by-jingo" to me and I loved it. I might try that one if you'll let me. No? Well, I totally understand.

I'd just give you a headache. However, my sister sang me to sleep with Dan Folgerberg's Leader of the Band.

i wouldn't sing. I'd do better than that. I'd get out my cello and play. the wonderful mellow sound will definitely put you to sleep.
