The Baltimore Orioles haven't done anything for awhile, time for them to start challening Boston and New York for that AL East. Throw in Toronto there too.

Its way past time for my Orioles to do well again. Unfortunately they wont. All because owner Peter Angelos wont get off his money and bring in guys that can get the birds back on track. And its a shame to see such a great organization fall to the level it has fallen. But if they dont ever get better we O's fans can still say we had the greatest shortstop to ever play the game, Cal Ripkin Jr.

The Orioles were in first place through the first half of the 2005 season, so its not like they have totally disipeared. they have many promising youngsters in Markakis, Ray, Fahey, Bedard, Penn. They need another year or two to devolop, they need to stop buying big name allstars 10 years out of their prime ex. Palmero, Sosa. and they need some pitching, bad.

I'd love to see Baltimore win the east, with Toronto taking 2nd!

Wouldnt it be a hoot to see the yankees finish 4th and boston finish 3rd!

As long as Peter Angelos remins the owner of the Orioles, they will never achieve the success of the past.

It is time. They have great young guys in Markakis, Bedard, Ray and Hayden Penn. They should stop spending loads of money on former all-stars and start spending money on pitching. LOTS OF Pitching. And they should get a lot of leadership from Miguel Tejada if he doesn't get traded.

They'd have to get rid of Angelos and find 3 starting pitchers. That's all.
