My mother went to Daytona for the races with a friend of hers. She packed ALL of her shoes, and her clothing..and they were there for the weekend!
Women need "their space", independance. She is with you 24/7, cooking, cleaning, sleeping, etc. She may need time to herself with out demands from someone else, and answering to no one but herself.
Have you two been argueing alot? Something you two just cannot get around? Has the daily routine been TOO routine? Has she put asside a hobby or career for you? When you "discuss" things, do you get angry? Do you HEAR her when you listen? Be honest with your answers.
You did not mention another man, so I gather you do trust her and that is a good thing! If you do not have trust, you do not have a relationship.
When you are not panicked, or angry at her for wanting a sense of independance, ask her what is troubling her and if there is anything you and her can do to help solve this.

She may be trying to go play the field, but leave an opening to come back if it doesn't work out how she wants. When a wife needs a break from her husband she goes out and spends some time with some family or friends. She doesn't pack up all her clothes like that. My 1st thought is she is meeting another person, and if that doesn't go the way she wants it to, she will want to come back home. (i can't say for sure that is what is happening, just my 1st thought)

It means that your marriage is going to be over. Most couples who plan on taking time apart will not recover. lol...she probably doesn't want the decorations. She's taking clothes she hasn't worn in four years...well you'd think that probably means she's not coming back any time soon. That's what is sounds like.

Your couple might have fallen into routine and monotony. She might be longing for a change which explain her wanting some time apart. But if she is not careful, she will put your union at risk. In this case it's preferable to communicate and agree to try other activities and revive the lust for each other.
Running away is not the answer. And it's weird that your wife is going away without you knowing the reason why?
Do you communicate? Ask HER what she means we can only speculate.
Good luck.

I can only say...change the locks...
Then I can say she is out trying somethign different away from you. Whether that is another relationship I dont know but women who leave and dont plan on coming back usually take ALL their clothes. Decorations can be replaced cheaply.
Good luck

Sure, she needs some time away with someone else that's what that means. Taking her clothes means she is going to try out things with this guy to see if it will work out and then you have seen the last of her. That is exactly what that means........Adios, it's been nice........................

Whether you want to accept it, I think you know the answer to this question. She has gone for good! Decide what your next move will be.....she is out of the picture now.

i think it might mean that in the past she tried and tried to tell you how she feels but you didn't hear her and you thought everything was going fine - cuz maybe it was - for you...
it seems to me that women try long and hard until they burn out and once they burn out it's nearly impossible to light them up again. although all things are possible with God.

Sugar, you need to see a lawyer. Have you checked your financial accounts? It there is no money or large money missing, then she is definitely moving on without you.
