What are the characteristics of aries and are they a good match with Taurus?

Those born under the sign of Aries are generally very strong and courageous with a zest for life and a will to succeed. They know exactly what they want and have no problem pursuing their goals. Easily bored, and quick thinking Aries needs a constant refreshment of new fuel.

Aries are not easily discouraged and enjoy a challenge. Basically uncomplicated, they are direct in their approach and able to cope in a straightforward way with the day to day problems in life. They are strong initiators and idea people who like to complete a project rapidly and keep on traveling.

On the down side, being tactful is not an Aries trait. Sometimes in their rush to get things done they can be callous and inconsiderate. Aries tend to be impulsive as well and sometimes stubborn, refusing to listen to reason. If things don't go their way they can be irritable and nervous. If you can keep up a relationship with an Aries, their optimism is contagious. Ardent romantics, Aries often prefer the chase to the long-haul relationship.

As far as relationship with Taurus---it generally does not work out (from my experience..) because Aries is a go getter...they are generally always on the go, not a lazy sign. Taurus on the other hand lives life in the slow lane. They do not like to be rushed and are somewhat of a lazy sign--a homebody.
Any relationship can work if you put in the right amount of effort. But you may want someone who shares more in common with yourself...such as Sag, or Leo or another aries.

They have very strong values, but sometimes they are just stubborn. If this point is reached they most likely won't change their mind. Most of the time though Aries is very fun to be around! They are very energetic, spontaneous, and motivating. One thing about Aries that is not fun in my opinion is the games... Even when they fall for you they like to play little chasing games. XD They also have a temper, it's best to stay out the way when they get mad. Their temper comes and leaves easily though.

We can be bossy, strong willed and over bearing at times. we are however, the best leaders,, great problem solvers and some of the most adventurous lovers you will ever come across. we are loyal and fight for what we believe. it is hard to get an Aries to settle down unless they know that you on the same level with them intellectually, financially, and can keep up with them in the bedroom! Aries love adventures of all kinds and they like to be spoiled and spoil....We are very jealous and competitive. Egotistical, we are not, just self assured. My husband & I ran our birthdates & it showed that Cancer (him) & Aries (me) are not real compatable... What do they know.. We never fight, we love each other. We talk to eachother all the time & never have had problems expressing our feeling for & to each other. I was told that I am most compatible with a Leo!!!
