No offense to girls but since I am a butch looking guy, sometimes they flirt and look at me and smile, and have asked my name to some of my straight friends. I hang around with straight friends and go to straight bars sometimes. i do not have to make public my preferences. It annoys me though

Just be courteous and she's making obvious that she's interested in you, just politely tell them that you're flattered, but not interested. You don't have to tell anyone that you are gay--after all, your personal business is no one else's--but you shouldn't be rude.

Tell them you are gay or tell them sorry your not my type if you dont wanna say your gay. What is real fun is flirt back a little then be like i really have to stop my bf gets jealous when girls hit on me! ;o)

I just laugh it off and either tell them I'm gay or that I'm not into it...I'm a firm believer that I only have to say 'no' once...you don't owe anyone an explanation if you don't want...or just say that you are already involved in a monogamous relationship.

personally i always feel good when someone flirts with me...regardless of gender. if i get propositioned by someone i am not interested in i say the same thing regardless of gender.
