I'm 28 weeks pregnant and i really want a VBAC!!! But my first labor was 34 hours ending in an emergency C-section under general anestetic. And on top of that I was 2 weeks over due. So I am really apprehensive about going over due and having a hard labor. What are the odds of me going over due again? And how was your vbac experience?

If your first c-section was truely an emergency, then you have a vertical scar. If so, then no you cannot have a vbac. If your scar is horizontal and down low (bikini area), then you could try a vbac if your doc allows you. I'm assuming since you said emergency then it's vertical.

nine times out of ten you will not have labor again they will not let you. you will have to have another c-section. my doctor said there is just too much to risk if you have already had a c-section, you need to have another one. he said that there are very few dr. that will allow a woman to have a child naturally once they have had a baby via c-section. good luck to you and i hope all ends up well in the end!!! holly
