You're right, very important, how has it not been asked earlier?!
Definitely Wolverine, all Spidey can do is spin webs onto people, Wolverine could so easily slash through themand then slash Spidey, oh and in real life Hugh Jackman could so easily beat that dork who plays Spidey..... mmmm Hugh Jackman.....

I think if Spiderman could get Wolverine's hands tied together with his web, then he'd win. Otherwise, Wolverine could just slash Spiderman's web, no sweat. If they were in a cage match, Wolverine would probably win because he's lethal from close range.

Very good question being posted here! And at first thought I would say Wolvie all the way. And I think it would be an incredible fight. Then I got to thinking a bit more and I just happen to read in the latest Civil War series where Peter Parker reviles himself to the world under the Superhero Registration Act. Spiderman takes on Captain America head on, toe to toe. It's a brief fight as Capt. tells Spidie how much he respects him.
My vote is for Spiderman/Peter Parker!
With great power comes great responsibility.

It's the matter of can wolverine catch spiderman to finnish him off? Spiderman can't do anything to Wolverine that Wolverine can't recover from in a qucik manner.

Deffinately Wolverine!! Even if spiderman shot is web at him he has his claws to get him out of it. Spiderman is weedy and wolverine is cool. Way cooler that most "superheroes" plus, he can regenerate.

When it comes to attitudes, the two are equal. Spidey has the edge in strength and agility, but Wolverine is one tough S.O.B. Wolverine's antiantium claws would make Spidey's webbing ineffective, unless he was able to somehow liquefy the metal and put it in his web spray.
I think Spidey would be able to out think him, as well as have the advantage of taking to the sides of the walls, where he would be out of the reach. His spider sense would allow him to dodge Wolverine's claws, and eventually he could tire him out. Plus, since Spidey has the strength of 100 men, he has the great advantage of dropping heavy items on Wolverine's head from above. Wolverine is definitely the tougher of the two, but Spidey's advantage in strength, agility, and intelligence would eventually be too much for Logan to handle.

Wolverine, his ex elite military, can't die by any means that spidey can throw at him, and would just shove them claws up spidey's @ss and split him in two.
Spiderman is a pretty lame superhero, his costume offers no protection, so a single bullet would be enough to finish him, as for his "spidey sense" tingling, how come none of the spiders have managed to dodge my foot stomping down on them?
