I am moving to Cochin, India to work and wondered if there was an expat community meeting place or bar/club. I have done a lot of traveling with my work, and usualy find there is one where ever I go. The best one I have come accross so far is in Salalah Oman.

Hi, have a look at this website as it'll allow you to contact other expats around the world, it's a free on-line source of info:http://www.contactexpats.com
Happy travelling!

Hi >
Wow.
Having been ex-pat there, and knowing Cochin and especially Salalah, oh dear I accidently drove across the border into South Yemen, but that's another story.
I would suggest, in search of ex-pat clubs etc, to have a word with the Brit Embassy.
They have a load of contacts & information.
Go to the local "MOD" office, and say "Bob the Boat" sent me.
They may well issue a pass to ex-pat beach clubs etc.
Worth a try.
All the best.
