If you want to wear comfortable pantyhose, stay away from control tops and 100% nylon pantyhose. Stick with sheer to waist styles with lycra spandex in them.
I usually wear L'eggs Sheer Energy and Sheer Vitality in sheer to waist. They're very comfortable and I sometimes forget I have them on. Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Givenchy also make good sheer to waist styles that are very comfy.

Honey, I do not know any women who do not hate wearing pantyhose, garter belt & the like! They can be instruments of torture if you do not get the correct size. As for the color, you will have to look around to find the right shade for you (I have an extremely light complection and sometimes even the nude shades are too dark) Good luck!

Thigh highs are more comfortable than pantyhose....but for special times you might want to consider stockings withg a garterbelt.
The color of hose depends on what outfits you are wearing. If you weraing a black dress you would wear either nude or black. Just a suggestion. Barbara

Get translucent pantyhose with sandletoe and control top - they are the best, the most comfortable, and they go with everything. If you do get a colour, get nude or linen if you are fair. Remember to check your height and weight on the back of the package to get the correct fit - pantyhose are hell if you buy the wrong fit.
Good luck!

Sally Hansen makes a product called "airbrush legs" which is basically spray on pantyhose. Very easy to use and looks just as good as "real" pantyhose, but without any of the hassles. Your coloring is similar to mine and I use medium glow. You can find it at just about any drug store. Good luck.
And, just out of curiosity, what is inter-sex?

stockings, panyhose, garter belts, etc...all those things are soooo uncomfortable! I avoid wearing them at all cost...the only time I wear them is if I'm wearing a skirt or dress and attending a business function or formal affair. I guess the only way to "get used to them" is to wear them often and try not to focus on how uncomfortable they are.

The color is tan or taupe that would be a good color. All of them are uncomfortable, I just wear socks and if I dress up I wear full support panty hose.
