My computer does not have any sound at all, it seems like it's playing sound but no sound is coming from my system or computer. It has the built in speakers, but I connected speakers to see if ithat would work but it doesn't. I've checked for conflicts and it doesn't have any. I've uninstalled and reinstalled my software and it still doesn't work. Could it be that I need a new soundcard, even though it shows everything is OK.

im not sure but you could try this:

> go to control panel > sound and audio devices
*check if everything is working fine but if not

>go to the audio tab, select your default device
if its still not working, check the cables lose wires and stuff like
that, when you think everything is still fine buying a new one is
your least option tweaking stuff a little on your free time could
save you some money..

Double click on the speaker icon at the bottom right of your screen and make sure the sound has not been muted in the pop up window.
