Are you implying that the customer should not have a "right to self opinion?" Whose opinion are they supposed to have?

If you are in Customer Service, you should remember that the customers are the ones with the money and the buying power - it is through their patronage that you even have a job. you are at their service. That is why it is called 'Customer Service.'

You would never believe just how stupid the average person is unless you work in some form of customer service. And having run my own business for a while the old "the customer is always right" saying is just not true, customers are often wrong, even to their own detriment.

The customer doesn't have to be competent at what you do. You have to be competent and have people skills. You have the right to have all the opinions you want but you'd better do your job right and make the sale or else you're out.
