If it is pronounced as "booori", it means "an old woman"(in oral language as lad in English) and when pronounced as "bari", it means a house.

It means- a very old lady,
which is often uttered for such
ladies, who are not liked by a
person and it s' utterance is
not respectable for addressing
such an old lady. It is uttered
when the lady is not around
and not in her presence.
Boori/Burri, is often used for the
old domestic maid as well, when
she is not around.
It is a dis-graceful/respectable word
in Bengali. It is also uttered for such a lady,
who may be the Mother in Law,
neighbour.
Normally, women utter this word.

You're probably referring to one of two things.
"Boori", where the "oo" rhymes with "soot", means "old woman".
"Bari", where the "a" rhymes with "cat", means "house".
