A woman I would consider my best friend, as we get older, does more and more things that are disturbing or immoral to me. I am no prude, but the most recent example is that her and her husband are on a two year plan to reduce debt, her obtain a career and then divorce. They have 3 children, one out of the house, but they are both actively prusuing other relationships. I think they could surely wait til the plan is complete and be divorced, especially when there are kids involved. Do I or can I continue with this friendship when I feel we are getting further apart in our thinkging and values?

For one thing, you can't live other peoples lives. It is okay to be friends, may be since it bothers you, about their life style, may be just keep your distance. Because that is their life, and you can't change, what they do. Just take a step back as far as they are concern.

its all up to you. It sounds pretty dodgy. Id proberbly back away slowly. also do you mind what this "friend" thinks of you. I mean if you tell you dont want to be friends and she calls u a B%$*#, will u cry for days. If not leave as fast as you can

How you want forget about them.?. You are friends for years - what they do , they do for them self not for you. You have to respect their decisions for happiness - if not you have a problem.
