I have no idea why people do this. I have known some in my life and I just tell them the truth. It's one of the things I can't tolerate. I'm sensitive to smells, and body oder just makes me sick. I have dumped friends because of this. I'm sorry but I can't help it. Why they don't bathe is a problem I'd rather not deal with. It's offensive and there is no excuse. Elderly have a fear of falling, that I can understand. But in cases like this laziness or a bad upbringing. Either way, too bad, I'm outta there!

Good question...
Divorce him..
Men don't normally have as good a hygiene as do women however showering every month or so is taking it too far...

I can understand that. He must be very lazy, ill or wants to keep the water bill low. Think of how they lived in the 1850's...still had a bath every Saturday in the family tub.

Instead of filing for divorce, I wonder if it ever crossed her mind to talk to him about this and see what's going on? He might be depressed or something. What are they going to put on the divorce papers? Reason for divorce: husband won't shower??

Yeah I know lot of people like this, some people at work smell so bad that I just sit away from them. I knew someone who washed his hair once a month, thought it made him more productive, ewwww
