Read the Bible and you'll know!
God created the human being. He did not make him/her a robot or a puppet on a string. God gave man the ability to think and do whatever he/she wants. In the Bible we learn how to live (think, act, care, love etc.) If we choose to do wrong (and we all know how far people will go) lie, cheat, kill, reject God etc.) then the devil wins for that moment. God will weep when we do bad things -like a loving parent who weeps when his/her child does wrong-. But God will also forgive if we ask. One day, nobody knows when, God will sentence the devil and free his children (you and I), Evil will end. And therefore the devil. Do you know who knows the best? The devil himself.
You have the freedom to read the Bible; the freedom to pray. Try and you'll know the truth.

The odds of there being real angels and real demons, and that they are not the angels and demons of the bible would be beyond astronomical.
So then, if these are the stuff of the bible, then the story would ultimately end as planned, with the devils being thrown into the fiery pit for eternity and the angels to everlasting praise for the Lion who was slain and who resurrected and exacted righteous judgement on all creation, man and nations moreover.....

It depends solely on who you wish to follow - The Angel, or the Demon.

That which is right and correct always wins in the long run.
Now it depends on your concepts of right and wrong.
