just wondering my lawyer has put in for hearing in front of a alj well i called social security and they said that they made a decsion without a hearing does that mean I may be aproved

I have heard of this happening and it USUALLY means you are approved. So be careful, don't get too hopeful, but that's the outcome I have heard before. Otherwise how would SS claim that they gave you a fair shot, if they 'didn't hear your case'?
