I don't mind paying taxes as it contributes to the running of the country and the fabric of society.
However, it annoys me when i see them wasting my money on rubbish projects instead of doing good things with it.

I wouldn't rate paying taxes as an evil at all, it's a necessary part of having government services. However, some of what is done with the tax money we pay is another story.

Actually I don't find paying a reasonable amount of taxes Evil. Taxes make it possible for police, fire, and other governmental services to operate. Who's gonna plow the roads in the winter, catch the burglar who just robbed your house....respond to your home for your first heart-attack, or educate your children?? I don't mind paying my fair share of taxes. I DO have a problem when big businesses are given tax breaks. They can pay their fair share right along with the rest of us. And I do have a problem with how some taxes are spent. $300 toilet seats, and $700 hammers are not what I would call a responsible way to spend my tax dollars. That is what I find Evil about taxes.... how they are spent!!!

Taxes are terrible but I wouldn't rate them high since they are necessary. Schools depend on taxes for money and education is very important. I'd rate taxes as a 7/10

Paying taxes is not an evil at all. If all the programs and etc that are paid for by taxes were eliminated then you would be in a very bad situation.

paying taxes is just a necessary part of community partnership,what happens to the money after its out of your hands is not in your control,but being a good tax paying citizen is not evil.

If they would learn how to use them correctly they wouldn't be an evil. I'd say they rate pretty high on the evil scale.
