Hi Dear TiGeR_EyEs ;

d = second term - first term
d = -5/6 - ( -1/3) = -5/6 + 1/3 = ( -5 + 2 ) / 6 = -3/6 = -1/2
d = - 1/2

Now
second term = first term + d ; -1/3 - 1/2 = ( -2 - 3 ) / 6 = -5/6
Third term = 2nd term + d ; -5/6 -1/2 = ( -5 -3)/6 = -8/6 = -4/3
Forth Term= 3rd term + d ; -4/3 -1/2 = ( -8 - 3 ) / 6 = -11/6
Fifth Term = 4th term + d ; -11/6 - 1/2 = ( -11 - 3 ) / 6 = -14/6 = -7/3
Sisth term = 5th term + d ; -7/3 -1/2 = ( -14 - 3)/6 = -17/6
Seventh term = 6th term + d ; -17/6 -1/2 = ( -17 -3 ) / 6 = -20 /6 = - 10/3
(-1/3 , -5/6 , 4-/3 , -11/6, -7/3, -17/6 , -10/3 )

Good Luck Dear♣

it could be an alternating sequence, where every other term alternates between 2 different sequences. if that's the case, then all the odd terms (1st, 3rd, 5th, etc.) form an arithmetic sequence that goes down by 1 each time (starting from -1/3) and all the even terms (2nd, 4th, 6th, etc.) form an arithmetic sequence that goes down by 1 each time (starting from -5/6). the 5th term must then be -7/3, the 6th term must be -17/6, and the 7th term must be -10/3.

try to rewrite the fractions so they have the same denominator:

-1/3= -2/6
-5/6= -5/6
-4/3= -8/6
-11/6=-11/6

you can now easily see that you have to add
-3/6 to the to all time last term.
The first will be
-11/6-3/6= -14/6
now its your turn!
