I can't push myself at all without getting a headache and being forced to stop. This has never happened to me before. I'm not doing anything particularly different. I played soccer without any pain.

It's like a throbbing sensation. It makes me feel a bit sick as well.

This could be a result of many things:
1. You are dehydrated.
2. You are lifting too much-try lifting less.
3. You are doing too many reps
4. You are sick.
Try figuring out which of these it is, then you can easily solve the problem.

It's possible that you have high blood pressure. Get it checked out by a nurse; if high make an appt with a dr. Don't use those BP checks in stores; they aren't accurate. Good luck to you.
