What model cel phone has the best reception?

I realize it all depends on the network provider and where you are, but do you know any cel phones that get simply great reception? I live in Chicago, so if you have any thoughts for this city, that is much appreciated!

Nextel (Motorola) is usually the best! Um..other than that, samsung and sayno.
