The Met Office's website is really good. It has the specific weather for a day, but I'm not sure how good its archives are.
The website is http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/ Also, can I point out that it is the most reliable place to find weather data as all of the weather data collection that is done officially in the UK is collated at the Met Office.
