open it up - click on the help tab and then select About - this will give you the version number. Under help you will find the guide and online info.

The first source website is a website from Microsoft designed to provide 'assistance' in the use of FrontPage (2003), including how to make webpages, setting up websites, handling graphics and so much more. It's laid out in the same way as the Office Help feature, and so it doesn't take a long time to work out how to use it.
And of course there is always the option of clicking on the 'Get Help from other Office Users' on the left hand side of the page, near the bottom of the links there, for any other questions you may still have.
If you really want something to teach you how to use FrontPage, rather then a reference guide that the Microsoft website provides, try out the second website below. OutFront is a learning community for FrontPage which provides tutorials, FAQs and forums to help beginner and intermediate FrontPage users.

Open Frontpage, click on Help, click on About Microsoft Frontpage (from the drop-down menu) and there it will tell you which version of Frontpage you are using.
You can get on-line training courses for Frontpage, check out the source address below.

Click help and then about Frontpage and it will tell you which version you have. Lots of books on Amazon - if you email me I have a powerpoint presentation that I can let you have a copy of. That may help - sort of takes you through a lecture. When you start. Try doing an index page (Home page) call it Index.htm or index.html. My server doesn't seem to mind which. Then set your shared borders - whatever you put in those goes on every page. Then background. Then save it as index.htm. Then do another page by clicking on blank page save it as about_me.htm or whatever. Put hyperlinks in a shared border to the homepage and the about_me page. You have a start of a web! You can get your background for your other pages now from index.htm and keep adding pages - and saving them with a file name of your choice and give them a name of your choice. When you have a few pages click save all and preview in your browser to see if they all work and the links. Next time you work on the web - open the Index page - then hold down the ctrl button and click the links to the other pages to load them in fast. That will at least get you started! Steal some stuff off my tiny site if you want to! Email me for more info - addy in the shared border at the bottom - hyperlinks to other pages in shared border at top. Good luck!
