I'm 14, and I'm afraid that if I go trick-or-treating, other 14-year-olds will think I'm a baby. (and what about 15, 16, and so on?)

i'm 15 and I'm going trick-or-treating and last year I saw other 15 year olds who I knew trick-or-treating so I say go ahead. I probably will go trick-or-treating for 2 more years or if I still look young I can pass for a younger teen and go more than 2 more years

I think it shouldn't have to stop. Lol...I love trick or treating for years....and because I had braces to straighten out my teeth for 5 or 6 years I was robbed out of my child hood time. So because I was short and look young I still continued it even after 16 yrs old. I continued until my son was 1 yrs old or older not sure...

I believe what ever you think it should be...enjoy and have fun.
I have seen people still dress up to make a spooky haunted house and dress up just to hand out candy....and there is still parties to go to dress up. So honestly, what do you think is the appropriate age is up to you or any individual. Some like to spoil it by deciding that others are too old. I would love to go out and have fun too. But some have tried to reck my fun.

It is fun. Because I am short and still look young, I still try. Have fun...be a kid at heart and enjoy.

Go for it! Who cares if anyone calls you a baby. If you want to go trick-or-treating that bad and your too embarrassed..then take a little cousin or sister or brother and use them as an excuse. Like you had to take your lil cuz or sibiling trick-or-treating. Lots of people are very old and they trick or treat! So just go for it!!! Halloween is supposed to be a fun holiday!

I'm 20 and my fiance is 26. We are going one final time this year. Well, he's going one final time this year. I'm short and I look young enough that I'll probably be able to do it for another 5 or so years! I LOVE trick or treating.

My sister is going, as well. She will be 17 soon.

Don't worry about what other people think of you! They're the ones that won't have candy to munch on during class.....hehe....and you won't give them any! =)

You deserve to be able to go out and dress up and everything else without having to worry about what other kids your age will think of you. I know I don't care what anyone thinks of me! It's fun!!!!

I grew up in a very small town in the middle of Wyoming. I actually trick or treated all the way up until I was 17. There it was acceptable, as long as you took the time out to make an effort and dress up. I guess it all depends on the environment.

Personally if you are chaperoning a smaller kid I think it's fine. It usually bothers me more when I don't have enough candy for the little kids. So far this year I've already made three trips to the store because it's already gone. The trick is not to eat it yourself.Should bigger kids get more candy than the smaller ones? Teenagers it seems usually have halloween parties. I think it depends also on how tall you are too.

I'm 14 years old, and me and my friends are trick or treating this year. I don't think we will next year though, so i'd say 15.

I went Trick or Treating for the final time whilst i became 13 - that year all the mum and dad have been giving me those stares as though i became way too previous for it. yet then whilst i became sixteen my ultimate chum and that i randomly dressed up as witches and went trick or treating mutually. It became relaxing, yet awkward using fact we've been juniors in severe college and all the different trick or treaters we observed have been like 6. i might say those mid-to-previous due teen years are somewhat too previous. yet as quickly as you get to varsity you could completely initiate trick or treating back, particularly in case you land up residing in a school city. in case you gown is unquestionably good, you're able to get a lager rather of candy. lol.

I'm 19 and a student at a major university, and this weekend is huge because everyone is out in costumes and trick-or-treating. Seriously, if you want to do it, just do it, no matter how old/young you are. And if anyone calls you a "baby," just tell them you have your priorities straight -- you now have a huge amount of candy, after all.

I stopped going at 18 ( I dressed up as a muderous maid with a bloody rolling-pin, hehe ), After that age, people tend to look at you weird... which is why the Rocky Horror Picture Show exists, for those who are too old to trick or treat! Info : www.rockyhorror.com
