the way that i have been taught since i was little was that you sit with your legs crossed, since that is more formal and that is how ladies in society did it and still do it. this shows that you know how to cross your legs when wearing a skirt and it also depends on the skirt! if it is a short mini then you do not cross your legs but is it is a more formal skirt, up to your knee for example then you have to keep your legs crossed.

not a girl but every woman that i see wearing a dress or skirt is knees together or the english style of crossing your legs, not the american figure four way. basically dont show off your panties.

Whatever you do, keep your legs together for God's sake, but DO NOT cross your legs. Crossing your legs cuts off the blood flow in your upper thighs, and the pressure can lead to varicose/spider veins. Trust me, you do not want those. I would just keep my legs together, and maybe off to the sides...but don't cross your legs.

Cross legged is the obvious choice. It protects everything from being broadcast.

cross legs at ankle....at knees will eventually cause vericose veins and is bad for circulation, just don't sit like the queen mum...

Cross your legs or if its short cross your ankles and make sure your thighs are together.

well make sure ur thighs are together.. ankels crossed.. and ur not showing ur panties.. lol.. crossing one leg over the other knee will show ur butt cheek if the skirt is short enough
