Definitely flying is the cheapest and fastest. Flights on EasyJet, GermanWings, or SkyEurope can be as low as 25 Euro each way. I've never paid more than 80 Euro for a flight from anywhere to anywhere in Europe. When I paid 80 Euro it was for a direct flight from Oslo to Prague on Norwegian. For 80 Euro I can't even go much further than the Czech/German border by train and neither trains or ferries are faster than flying. The ferry is not even scenic because they usually make the crossing at night and you sleep on the boat.

Well, I flew from Copenhagen to Stockholm last August, because the difference in price between train and plane was not that big; besides, it´s only an hour flight and the train takes hours.
I know there´s a train with goes from Copenhagen to Malmo (in Sweden), in only half an hour. Maybe there´s some other combination between Malmo and Stockholm.
Anyway, as I have said, I chose the plane because the price was not much more expensive

When looking for flights you usually need to check for specific dates and there are so many different offers. Try to check out the SAS website for offers, sign up for special offers if you have enough time to wait. The cheapest flights I can see on there now are around 1.100 SEK, around 80 GBP (all taxes included). The flight takes about an hour an 20 minutes.
