We have a fake tree because our dogs were chewing on the real ones & drinking the water from the stand, which was making them get sick. They are much less interested in the fake tree & we got one that looks like a tree.

Real. I was born on Christmas Day, so fake trees will not fly for me. All you should do is put a sheet under the tree so that all the little needles will fall on it and cleanup will be a breeze.

REAL! Douglas Fir is my favorite.
You can get the tree in the pot and transplant it. At my mother's house we have two former Christmas trees from the early '70s on the property. They are both now taller than the house and it is amazing to think that they once fit in the living room!

I have a fake tree, because my dogs loved the real pine needles and it made them very sick and with a fake tree they leave it alone, most of the time that is!

we've gone with a real tree the last few years, i guess everyone here got tired of my shiny silver tree with blue balls and color wheel i used to put up.
