Ebby, that baby will be born when he is good and ready, and nobody knows that better than him (or her). Three of my four were late - one was 3 weeks late! - but when the time was right, they all came out just fine, robust and healthy.
I am VERY skeptical about inducing. It's like trying to twist a green apple off a tree. It also makes labor painful and intense. Let nature take its course. In good time you will have a wonderful, healthy little one!

I have 3 kids and 2 of them were 2 weeks overdue, they had to induce because nothing was happening. I tryed everything from cleaning, running, riding a bike, eating different foods and nothing did it. My last child they did C-section a week early because the other 2 were big babies almost 10lbs. Trust me I have tryed it all and when the baby decides he/she will let you know. Good luck and enjoy your little one when they decide to arrive.

Take several warm baths and just walk as much as possible CLOSE TO HOME, even around the yard! Good luck and hope everything goes well. Don't do anything that will make you sick, oil etc... just be patient that baby will come out! Proud parent of 3 year old boy

Caster oil is a bad idea. It only causes diarrhea and I've heard it can even cause problems with baby's digestion....
Walking worked for me, and as sick and unpleasant as it sounds right now, there is supposedly some truth to the sex rumor.
I'd tell you to be patient, but that's easier said than done I know, Good Luck!

Your doctor will not let you go overdue more than a week or two.
It's bad to go too long as the placenta begins to break down.
Walking is good , even sex.Just don't worry. You will be induced if this goes on.

I was two weeks overdue with my son. Everyone told me to walk walk walk and take hot baths, but neither of those things worked with me. Ask your doctor if they can induce you

be patient. Your doctor should be setting a date to induce your labor if your due date is past. Don't do anything that will harm you or the baby. Take a very long walk, it should at least help your mood :-)

Have sex, keep a pillow under your bottom for a half an hour because sperm is a natural prostaglandin. then have a warm shower, express colostrum from one nipple for two minutes then do the other. ten minutes later repeat the expressing. do this for a half an hour. expressing releases natural oxytocin that causes contractions.
Hope This Helps You Out!

Laxative if your overdue not before. Also if your a week or over you can ask your Obgyn to induce labor.

Have a salad with balsamic vinegar. I've read that because it is aged in oak barrels, it causes cramping.
But maybe it would be best to just wait it out, you've gone this long, and he or she can't stay inside forever!
good luck!
