They can't have a rational debate. All they know is foot stomping and tears.

Speaking as a progressive democrat (if you want to call me a liberal, fine) I believe we need to stop playing the game that others have played in the past when it comes to "us vs. them" thinking in our two party system.
There are those who aim to denegrate, excluded, and insult without learning anything at all. Folks on the right can learn from folks on the left. They're not all the same.
But again, the media, and many of the politicians will have you believe that is black and white. It is us and them. It is Coke or Pepsi. It is Beatles or Stones. It is left and right.
People who want to live in that kind of world are missing out on real dialogue. We need a third party system. It would add more variety. It would add more discussion. It would add more competition.
Check out the Libertarian Party, the Working Families Party, the Green Party, etc.

We can. It's sometimes difficult to give a reasonable response to unreasonablr questions such as this 1. Your question assumes that Reps are acting a certain way. we aren't. How would you respond to the question "Have you stopped beating your wife?"

I think it's the tone of how you ask the questions.
If the question is an obvious attempt to put down or degrade a republican or person, you won't get a positive response to your questions.

That would be a TOS violation.
View points theoretically come from the answer not the question.

I'm so sick of questions like this from both sides. Although I'm politically liberal, I refuse to register as a democrat because I'm sick of people opposing one another simply to widen the party divide. We should be working together, NOT tearing eachother down. Please stop contributing to the biggest problem in politics today.

Because they cannot support their position or anything Bush has done. He is a dismal failure.
