Hi, I have been off the pill for a month and my husband and I are ttc. I haven't had any signs of being pregnant yet as my ovulation was last week. I'm wondering how soon after conceiving do you start noticing symptoms? As I cooked bacon this morning, I became really nauseated. I'm almost feeling like I was out drinking late last night. Could this be an early sign? My next period is due Nov. 7...I'm wondering if it is too early to test?

there is an ept test that will test you before your period you can purchase it at wal-mart for around 20.00. That is a sign of morning sickness but, see if u feel like that for a couple days in a row. I have 4 children and i got different morning sickness with each of them. the test is called ept certainty

It may be a little too early to take the pregnancy test. Women dont produce a lot of the hormone in their blood until implantation occurs which is the baby burrowing into the uterine wall. After this happens then the body will produce this hormone and it double s about every two days. Its best to take the pregnancy test one week after your missed period so you wont get any false negatives. For a healthy couple in their 20s the chances are about 20% and lower in their 30s. Remember that a lot of the time it takes a while for the body to get back to normal after the birth control pill so it may take a few months. On average it takes anywhere from 4 to 6 months to conceive. I wouldn't be worried unless it has been a whole year without conceiving. It is still possible that you could be pregnant so I would just wait it out and then take the test. Dont get too caught up in symptoms. You may be experiencing a placebo effect in which you want to get pregnant so bad that you actually feel like your pregnant. I am trying to conceive too and I do it all the time. Nausea is a sign of early pregnancy and if you already have then your going to have it everyday for the next few months, but NO it isn't too early to test. I was only 3 weeks pregnant when I tested and it was positive.

Sounds like you are. I had nausea from the smell of bacon before i even knew i was pregnant. Nausea is one of the many signs of pregnancy. i am waiting to take a test too. . .its too early but i was told to wait 4 days before your expected period to take one of those First Response tests. and if thats negitive try again a week later! but i wish you good luck!!! hopefully my test and your test will be positive as well!!

You should wait at least until the day you actually missed your period that way you won't have to keep buying test over and over again. GOOD LUCK

ITS NOT TO EARLY TO TEST. YOU CAN BUY HOME TESTING KITS THAT CAN TELL THE DAY AFTER CONCEPTION,NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF THE MONTH IT IS FOR YOU. JUST GO TO CHEMIST AND ASK, THEY WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP AND ADVISE. GOOD LUCK.
