Veni Vini Vici.
"In Wine, There is Truth"
The Romans used to have their senate get intoxicated and go over the issues. Scribes would write everything said about the matters. Then the senate would meet again and have the drunken metaphors read back to them. With the true feelings in the open, the matters could be dicussed without any hidden agendas.

Remember though, that drunk people can still lie and manipulate.

Well, here's the trick. Get a digital voice recorder,(unless you'd rather write, which is a social annoyance and time-killer), and record your insights for review at a time when you are not intoxicated. Some of them will reveal themselves to have too many loose ends to work the way you thought they would - but others will remain pretty shrewd observations.
I'd give that one a qualified maybe.
This also gives you the oppertunity to remember those hilarious things that always get said and forgotten somehow.

Things said when intoxicated should be trusted. If they are repeated when sober they are 50% trustworthy.

Let's see, intoxicated people make great decisions like to drive. We know that is a good insight because they kill themselves or others.... great insight. What do you think?

i think you have something else to worry about here..I would wnat to know why a person needs artificial courage and I would want to know what this person thinks they are lacking that makes them need artificial courage, this could turn into a lifelong problem and result in addiction if not questioned now..but remember to question kindly and with love as they are probably already suffering from low self esteem and feelings of inadequacy

75% of the time I'd say. Sometimes there's a moment of Clarity. Although I find it best to steer clear of drinking entirely.

there's definitely elements of truth in these things, but they may be somewhat simplified or exaggerated.
