I took the ACT, and made a composite 25. I was accepted at several schools, but went to Auburn University. My SAT was a 960 out of 1600 (back in 1981).

I didn't need the SAT for my colleges. Just ACT. Cornell took me with a 30. Which isn't terrible. None of the other colleges blinked at that either.
(Yeah, I shifted programs and moved a lot.)

Well, I got a 25 on my ACT's and got accepted to all the ones I applied to, Purdue Uiversity, Dominican University, Tri-state university and Drake.....

I'm sure that I would have been accepted into any college of my choice, although I chose not to further educate myself.
