BET is more hip hop, rap and R&B and MTV is more variety. BUT BET shows more music videos than MTV. When was the last time you watch a music video on MTV during the day?
And what happened to VH1's Pop Up Video? I really liked watching the little bubbles with facts about the music video.

MTV (Music TeleVision) is a cable television network, originally devoted to music videos, especially popular rock music. which i enjoy, i like veriety
i dont enjoy bet, becauseBET has got to do something with their programming. This music channel likes to show the same music videos all day, every day.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

for me it would be MTV because i can watch a variety of videos. i can watch rock,pop, r&b, rap/hip hop.
on BET i can only watch r&b, rap/hip hop and things similar.
but with MTV you have to watch one of their extended networks to really watch videos because the orginal MTV is nothing but reality shows.
