as any one had to take their baby for a meckles scan? my baby is ten months old and as got to go for one but i dont know how they will keep her lying flat and still for over 30 mins while they take the x rays, will they have to sedate her?

Not sure, but I would imagine they would sedate her. It would be less traumatic for her that way anyway.

I am honostly not sure what a meckles scan is, but my daughter has had a lot of x-rays without being sedated. She had a cat scan unsedated. But when she had an MRI they did sedate her a little, but it wore off pretty quickly. If the X-rays are done one at a time they may let you get her up for a few minutes between shots. If they are continous it would probably be easier on her and on you for her to be sedated. Good Luck.

Yes, they can sedate a baby so that they lay completely still, no need to worry
