Do you remember?

Hi there , Yahoo friends.
I was just wandering if you can remember where you were ,when you heard the death of either Elvis or John Lennon or Princess Diana. Or all of them if you are as old as me.

Elvis - after school on the news - we were in the living room
John Lennon - while driving to school (college) on the radio - I had to pull over on the highway and cry
Diana - I was cooking dinner and my husband and kids were in the living room watching TV. the show was interupted to broadcast the news

John Kennedy - I knew something was really wrong when my mom, who never cryed, was crying on the front porch. I asked her why, and she said a very important man had died. I was 4.

I remember Princess Diana death well. I was on my way out the door and stopped in my tracks when I heard it on TV. I had to call into work that night I cried until I got sick. I remember watching her get married as a child so I thought she was the best thing ever growing up.

Elvis I can remember people talking about it and seeing the cars on TV and the funeral. Not a whole bunch I was just 5 years old. I knew who he was tho.

Lennon I was 8 years old. I heard my parents talking about him,but the thing that sticks out in my mind that I still remember I me being female I remember his wife. lol
I was only 8 so at the age I was to busy playing outside. I thought it was scary how he died then.

That's all I remember.

I was not born when Elvis died, nor John Lennon. But Princess Diana was my favorite person when I was little. I was very young when I heard that she died, and I loved her. I was in te living room of my house and they said she died and showed her car. I started crying. She was my favorite princess. Out of all the Disney movies, and real life.

I was in Pizza Inn with several friends when I heard of the death of John Lennon, and this one guy kept playing "Watching the Wheels" on the jukebox over and over again.

I was at home watching CNN when I heard about Diana's death.

I was in elementary school class when they announced John F Kennedy's death.

I was at work at a stereo shop when Rick Nelson death was announced.

I was a toddler the day the music died.

When Elvis died I was a little kid and I saw it on the news , but really couldn't understand it since they kept playing his music on the radio . I was in school when John died , it was a sad day for a lot of people . Once again I was watching TV when I learned that Diana had died . I think it was CNN .

I barely remember when Elvis died, I only remember my mom crying. I don't even know when John Lennon died. When Princess Diana died I was in a hotel room with my cousin, our bf's were fishing and I was talkin to my uncle on the phone and he told me, I didn't believe him at first then we switched it to the news...so sad

Elvis...I was at a friend's house and we were playing in her room when we heard it on TV. I ran all the way home to tell my mom; she LOVED Elvis. I remember it being surreal and so hard to believe. John...I was watching TV and there was an interruption in the program telling us that he had been shot. Diana...my husband and I were out with friends and we saw it on the news; it was pretty late and I remember being glued to the TV. All were sad situations.

I heard about the Princess of Wales' death when I was in college. I took it hard because she was my favorite of all the British monarch. Well, I like Prince William, but then his mom was one of the world's best. I miss Princess Diana :)

Not at all. Elvis was a drug addict. John Lennon was my least favorite Beatle. Princess Di I never heard of before the news the next day, whenever that was.
